HBO wins Promo Grand Prix

CANNES - HBO's 'Voyeur' integrated campaign, developed by BBDO New York, has won the Promo Grand Prix at the 2008 Cannes Lions.

The campaign prevailed over fierce competition from three other entries, including two from Australiasia, which each won Gold Lions: MTV Networks Australia’s ‘Welcome Snoop’ by Lowe & Rivet; Lion Nathan’s ‘Speight’s Great Beer Delivery’ by Publicis Mojo Auckland; and, 7-Eleven’s ‘D’oh Thank Heaven’ by TracyLocke Dallas.

Of the 17 Gold Lions awarded, meanwhile, three came from Asia-Pacific; in addition to the Australasian winners, Beacon Communications’ ‘Voice of Endangered Birds’ for the Wild Bird Society of Japan also took home gold.
