Greater China: Headline - Survey finds Chinese reading fewer print titles
A survey by China's Institute of Publishing Science has revealed that Chinese people are reading less print titles. Nearly 52 per cent of the literate population read a book at least once in a month, 8.7 per cent lower than in 1998; the percentage for magazines was 46.4 per cent, lower than the 57 per cent in '98.
