Euro RSCG unveils first ad series for Whitebait & Kale

Euro RSCG has unveiled its first campaign for new client Whitebait & Kale, an Australian-inspired contemporary restaurant in the city.

Comprising three print ads, the work features characters such as the 'hungover party girl,' 'business partner -- showing off wife number 5's latest acquisition' and 'celebrated plastic surgeon, admiring his art'. "We wanted to create a fresh, contemporary campaign that reflects the true character and style of the restaurant," explained executive creative director Charlie Blower. "The concept is very simple, yet effective. And like the restaurant experience itself, it's surprising, intriguing and very entertaining. "The use of silhouettes draws the reader in to find out who they are and why they are there. The natural curiosity of the reader is rewarded by the cheeky descriptions of diners." The campaign is running in IS and Finder magazines, and was art directed by Joy Lee, with Tan Ai Lin writing copy.
