Disney-themed train launched to attract tourists

Hong Kong Disneyland has launched a Disneyland Resort Line, the first dedicated train line for a Disney theme park in the world.

Disneyland Hong Kong expects the whimsical trains, with a cost of US$256 million, to handle more than 10,000 passengers per hour. Disneyland Hong Kong is set to boost the city's tourism industry following its formal launch at September 12. The trains feature photos of Disney's classic characters, bronze figurines as well as Mickey Mouse-shaped windows. Don Robinson, group managing director of Hong Kong Disneyland, said: "We thought it was important to incorporate the 'Disney' touches into the trains."
