DDB boosts India offer with launch of Rapp Collins

DDB has boosted its integrated marketing offer in India with the launch of Rapp Collins, and will roll out its interactive unit Tribal DDB next month.

Rapp Collins has started working with DDB's partner agency, Mudra Communications, on the internationally-aligned Air France business. DDB earlier stated its interest in opening a second agency in India, which would use the DDB brand. James Best, chief strategic officer, DDB Worldwide confirmed the plans, saying: "Mudra does plan to launch a second agency and whatever we do will be in keeping with Mudra as our partner." Madhukar Kamath, MD and CEO, Mudra, said the agency had set up an umbrella brand for its marketing services enterprise, called Total Branding Solutions, to be headed by R. Lakshminara-yanan.
