Dentsu, NTT DoCoMo and NTT Advertising has jointly set up an agency
taking charge of the i-mode Internet service developed by the mobile
phone service operator.
The new agency, named D2 Communications, will be headed by president Mr
Akihisa Fujita of Dentsu, and it will represent i-mode's media business
and develop advertising and marketing activities associated with mobile
online business.
The new advertising service is set to be provided through i-mode and has
been designed to provide handset users with a more useful content
portfolio.
