Maggie Sun, a founding member of the agency's Shanghai operation, is returning to Taiwan to head up the newly-opened Taipei office as business director.
The Shanghai post vacated by Sun will be filled by a former Accenture senior executive Joseph Wong as strategic planning director and managing partner, while Guy Brook will join the Hong Kong office as business director, taking over from Rick Multari.
The appointment of Wong - a 10-year management consulting veteran who built the Accenture China office from scratch to 160 staff today - was aimed at offering clients more than just marketing communications solutions.
M&C China managing director, Janice Chan, said: "Understanding the client's business is the top priority and that means we have to go deeper into strategic - focusing on research, planning, being aware of the client's bottom line, marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
"Joseph has been integrated into the agency to lead people onto a different path where we want to form a deeper relationship with the client."
In Taiwan, Huang's mission will be to spearhead the growth of the agency on the island, while Brook will be part of a team in Hong Kong managing a portfolio of international accounts, including Mandarin Oriental, British Airways and Tourism New Zealand.
Brook has spent all of his 10-year career in Asia, with McCann-Erickson and Bates 141, handling a number of blue-chip accounts such as Coca-Cola, British American Tobacco, Heineken, Nokia and Caltex.
