Alintuck and Schultz depart as Edelman reshuffles China

BEIJING - Edelman China MD Martin Alintuck and Beijing MD Jeff Schultz are departing the agency, as part of a major reshuffle of the firm's mainland operations.

Current regional MD of the corporate practice, Charles Lankester, takes on the China MD role, and shifts from Hong Kong to Beijing. Meanwhile China corporate director Richard Muller will be promoted to MD of Edelman Shanghai, taking on the new role in September.

Schultz takes on a role as MD of RDPAC, the international pharmaceutical industry’s trade association in China, while Alintuck’s next destination is unclear. “Current leadership has done an admirable job of getting us positioned to make a serious run at market leadership,” said Edelman regional CEO Alan VanderMolen.
