Monks has named Chris Wilhelmi as executive vice president and head of global data, leading global data strategy and R&D initiatives in integrated marketing. With over 20 years of experience in marketing analytics, he now oversees the expansion of the AI platform Monks.Flow. He previously served as chief data and analytics officer at UM and held senior roles at R/GA and Publicis. Monks announced the move on Linkedin.

Ang Qianling has joined Chagee as head of social and digital media, APAC. Her career began at Publicis, where she spent over six years in communications and planning, and was formerly head of marketing and digital, APAC at Subway, and director of brand communications at Adidas. 

PRHK has announced its new board for the 2025-2026 term, who will lead next generation talent, build industry collaboration, and push for innovation in strategic communications.

Milla McPhee, chief strategy officer of Droga5 and managing director at Accenture Song Australia, has departed the agency and joined ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) as director, audiences. Before Accenture Song, she was head of brand and creative strategy for Amazon in Europe and spent five years at Adam & Eve DDB in London.
 
Mohit Sharma has been elevated to president, client solutions of WPP Media Indonesia. He was previously L’Oreal beauty tech lab, client lead. Sharma has been with GroupM since 2014, beginning his career in India before moving on to roles at MEC, Essence, and MediaCom and relocating to Indonesia in 2022.

Houston Group, independent brand consultancy, announces a significant boost to its creative leadership team.

  • Alex Toohey, a founding creative, steps into the role of chief creative officer-partner. He will lead the agency’s creative vision, building on Houston’s reputation for work that is both strategic and creative.
  • Alex Creamer has been promoted to executive creative director. Over the past 18 months, he has been leading work for clients including Westpac, McDonald’s and NRMA.
  • Jacquie Halloran joins as design director. Most recently at London’s Made Thought, she brings a decade of award-winning experience with global brands including Chanel, Burberry, Commbank, Sydney Festival and the Maybourne Hotel Group.

IPG Mediabrands has promoted Ava Lee to director of client services for Mediabrands Content Studio (MBCS) Hong Kong. She will report to Penny Chow, chief operating officer of IPG Mediabrands Greater China. Previously, Lee served as business director of the MBSC studio and joined the agency as group account director in 2022. She has been recognised as Campaign’s Women to Watch for 2024.

TBWA\Media Arts Lab (MAL) has appointed Anna Hunt as managing director and promoted Stuart Alexander to executive creative director for its Sydney office. Hunt will report to Katrien De Bauw, global chief executive officer, and partner with Alexander to lead the agency and client relationship. With almost 20 years of experience across creative agencies and brands, Hunt has held senior roles at Host, M+C Saatchi, TBWA, and Google. She worked across creative and digital businesses like Nakatomi, Language Design, and Rick Barry. Alexander joined TBWA in 2023 as group creative director. He previously worked at The Monkeys, Leo Burnett and Host/Havas. 
 
Full-service creative agency, MBCS, has announced the strategic integration of Kinesso’s creators & content team in Australia. The integration follows the recent appointment of Matt Holmes as MBCS’s head of creative strategy and ideation. Led by Alexis Whelan, the creators & content team will be at the forefront of social strategy, influencer marketing, and community management. Whelan reports to MBCS MD, Harry Preston.

Independent full-funnel agency Thompson Spencer has expanded its media team.

  • Jake Calder, formerly of OMD and MBM, joins as media director / media futurist, based in Auckland. 
  • Madison Trevella, previously with OMD and most recently strategy & client lead at Reason, joins as head of media, based in Melbourne.
  • Libby Frost joins as media planner, based in Auckland who was most recently at EssenceMediacom.

Clemenger BBDO has appointed Stuart Bailey as its new chief media officer. With more than 20 years of experience across the UK and Australia, Stuart brings experience from senior roles across major agency groups, including OMG, most recently as chief operating officer at PHD Australia.

Meble Tin will join Visa as its new Oceania head of marketing in September. Tin will lead marketing for Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. Before joining Visa, she worked for over four years at Airbnb as APAC marketing lead. Prior to that, she held senior global marketing roles at Apple.

Genero has appointed Janna Jauhar and Krystal Lim as senior client directors, APAC, based in Singapore. Jauhar brings 17 years’ experience across media and marketing. She was most recently global business lead at Ogilvy Singapore. Lim joins from R3 (Mediasense) and previously ByteDance,  with deep expertise in media, technology and content strategy.

HSBC Bank has appointed Saurabh Singhal as managing director, global head of digital marketing, CIB, overseeing B2B and digital marketing strategy. Now based in Hong Kong, he brings extensive marketing and commercial leadership experience across enterprise and retail sectors. His experience includes serving as group head of marketing at DBS and a stint as chief commercial and fintech officer for Narendra Modi’s flagship Gift City project in India. He announced the move on LinkedIn.

Kingdom Digital, part of the Hakuhodo International Collective, has appointed Pajaree Vatcharateansagul as its new head of media, driving the agency’s integrated growth and strategy. With over eight years of experience spanning integrated media strategy, digital transformation, and regional campaign leadership, she will lead media strategy planning, ad optimisation capabilities, and performance marketing across Southeast Asia. 

James Taylor joins OOh!media as managing director and chief executive officer following a 13-year tenure at SBS. Bringing more than 25 years of experience in the Australian media industry, he most recently served as managing director at SBS, where he drove advertising revenue growth and boosted total audience consumption. He will step into his new role at OOh!media by early 2026. 

Adidas has appointed Eleanor Wang as director of brand activation for Southeast Asia, overseeing strategic development and brand marketing initiatives. She was previously director of marketing at PUMA Group, where she spent over 12 years driving digital campaigns and brand engagement. 

303 MullenLowe Perth has named Giulia Palandri as director of client partnerships, where she’ll lead strategy, creative, and media alongside the agency’s managing director, René Migliore. Palandri previously held leadership roles at Juicebox and Assembly+Co., bringing over creative brand and advertising expertise. 

Dentsu Creative Isobar has promoted Sahil Shah to chief executive officer after serving for over three years as the agency’s president. Reporting to Amit Wadhwa, CEO for Dentsu Media and Creative in India, Shah will manage over 350 executives across India, leading strategy for large global and Indian clients. 

Epicor has promoted Kerrie Jordan to chief marketing officer, where she will oversee global marketing strategy, brand growth, and customer engagement. Bringing extensive experience in senior product innovation and strategic marketing, she previously served as group vice president of product marketing and ISV partner programmes. Prior to joining Epicor, she held senior marketing leadership roles at Oracle.

Toby Talbot, ANZ chief creative officer at Ogilvy, is departing the agency after three and a half years in the role. He first joined Ogilvy to take on the inaugural role of trans-Tasman COO, leading creative teams and overseeing business and creative output across ANZ. Prior to his role at Ogilvy, he was CCO at 14, a DDB-owned agency in Barcelona. 

Aussie influencer marketing & content agency Hypetap has expanded its national presence by opening a new Sydney office, appointing Shane Holmes as managing partner to lead the operation. This growth follows last year’s London expansion and responds to rising demand from Sydney-based clients. Holmes, with extensive leadership experience at agencies like AKQA and whiteGREY, will focus on building client relationships and driving agency growth. The Sydney office will complement Hypetap’s Melbourne base, strengthening its capability to deliver influencer marketing solutions across Australia and the APAC region.

Havas Play India has undergone a strategic leadership transition to drive growth, integration, and culturally relevant brand experiences. Uday Mohan is now COO of both Havas Media India and Havas Play India, aligning media, content, and experience efforts, while Prachi Narayan has been promoted to managing partner to lead Havas Play’s four core verticals: Entertainment, Content, Sports, and Social. The new structure aims to simplify operations and foster deeper brand-audience connections through integrated storytelling, culture, and commerce.
 
Bravo Media Limited has been named the exclusive agency for Citybus Limited’s Bus Shelter Network in Hong Kong. The network includes over 300 shelters and 75 digital screens in key areas like Hong Kong Island’s CBD. This complements Bravo Media’s existing Citybus Bus Body advertising, creating an integrated transit advertising platform. The eight-year deal extends through 2033, strengthening Bravo Media’s leadership in Hong Kong’s outdoor advertising with innovative digital solutions. Citybus expects this partnership to enhance advertising impact for its large daily ridership.
 
The Sandpiper Group has launched Sandpiper Financial, a new division focused on financial communications and special situations advisory across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. The team is led by Kainoa Blaisdell, supported by senior hires including Justin Teh, Angus Booth, and veteran advisor Richard Barton. This expansion builds on Sandpiper’s existing financial services strengths and aims to help clients navigate complex transactions and challenges such as M&As, IPOs, and investor relations across key markets. 
 
FleishmanHillard has named Rachel Catanach as global managing director of its Corporate Affairs Practice, supported by regional leads Michael Moroney (Americas), Yvonne Park (APAC), and Hanning Kempe (EMEA). The firm uses advanced tools like AI-powered Risk Radar to help clients manage reputation and risk in a complex global environment. This new leadership structure strengthens FleishmanHillard’s ability to provide strategic counsel worldwide. The company has nearly 80 offices globally and is part of Omnicom PR Group.
 
SERVO, an Australian film and TV production services company, has appointed Sam Pantos as CEO to lead its next phase of growth. Pantos has experience in production finance and operations, including roles at major studios and work developing Saudi Arabia’s screen infrastructure. Since starting in 2023, SERVO has become a partner for international studios including Amazon MGM and Paramount, facilitating over A$1 billion in Australian production expenditure. The company provides services such as budgeting, crew hiring, and incentive management, supporting various productions and contributing to the local economy and employment.
