The WFA's CMO Forum is a peer-to-peer network attended by CMOs and equivalents from brands based in Asia-Pacific. It first launched in September 2015 and will next meet in October 2016 in Singapore and Hong Kong.

The forum provides marketers with a platform for exchanging insights that would help them navigate the changing global marketing landscape. Previous meetings focused on the roles, responsibilities and requirements of the modern CMO, marketing transformation and capabilities, marketing in Asia and talent development.

Ahmed is now group head of marketing for Asia-Pacific at MasterCard and a board member of WFA's Project Reconnect, having worked at Fonterra, Kraft and Starbucks before.
