Zenith ready to fill Asia-Pacific chief position

<p>Zenith Media is close to announcing the appointment of an </p><p>Asia-Pacific chief executive officer, sources in Hong Kong and London </p><p>said. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The agency has been without a CEO since May 2000 when Antony Young quit </p><p>to start up digital agency AdXplorer. Young quit just months after </p><p>Zenith lost the USdollars 160 million Procter & Gamble China media </p><p>buying account to a joint venture between Starcom and MediaVest. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Since Young's departure, Zenith has been run by chief operating officer </p><p>Roland Crouch. In addition, Zenith worldwide chairman John Perriss has </p><p>taken a greater role in the region. Sources said that an announcement of </p><p>a new CEO could be made within the next week. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
