Zenith promotes Li to steer China drive
<p>TAIPEI: Zenith Media has promoted its China managing director, Lee Li, </p><p>who has been with the agency for five years, to chief executive for its </p><p>China operations. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>In his new role, Li will helm Zenith Media's operations in China and </p><p>Taiwan, managing the division heads of its four offices as well as the </p><p>agency's divisions such as Croton, iMpact and Megavision. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Roland Crouch, regional director of Zenith Media, said the appointment </p><p>is "significant" because the agency has become much bigger since it </p><p>launched China operations in 1996. Zenith claimed it hit billings of </p><p>USdollars 430 million last year . "We have 260 staff and have developed </p><p>various divisions such as Croton, iMpact, and Megavision," he said. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Li said the agency is looking to corner a 20 per cent market share </p><p>before 2005. "We are also going to set up three offices this year in </p><p>Nanjing, Hanzhou and Harbin." </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Crouch said Zenith is investing in building its integrated </p><p>communications services and offerings in China. "Clients are </p><p>increasingly demanding more holistic planning which requires a greater </p><p>understanding of the brand and the consumer. We are investing in </p><p>building such insights, tools and skills to translate these into winning </p><p>marketing plans." </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
