HONG KONG: Movie production giant 20th Century Fox has consolidated its
US$2 million media planning and buying account with
MindShare.
The account was previously split between Zenith Media, the incumbent
agency for television, and King Mart, a movie promotions specialist
which handled print advertising. MindShare Hong Kong general manager
Melanie Lo said Fox was looking for consumer insights into how
movie-goers use media to make decisions on which film to watch. Fox Hong
Kong marketing manager Wynne Cheung described MindShare as the "clear
winner", adding that it "delivered intelligent and innovative thinking
for our business".
MindShare's appointment follows its win of the US$45 million Fox
account in Japan about two months ago.
