Zenith launches India operations

<p>Zenith Worldwide has officially launched in five cities in India, </p><p>managing media planning and buying services for a number of network </p><p>clients, including ITC (British American Tobacco), Hewlett-Packard, </p><p>Warner Lambert and Nokia. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Zenith has had a presence in India since last November, with activities </p><p>in the key cities of Mumbai, Calcutta, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Zenith India is headed by Mr Tapan Pal, as president and CEO. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>He was previously regional director of business development for </p><p>Discovery Communications in India, covering the South Asia region. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>He has 24 years of experience in the industry, including positions at </p><p>Clarion-McCann and Mudra-DDB, as well as at Plus Channel. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>While advertisers typically focus on media buying efficiency, Zenith </p><p>India's strategy will be to bring clients the entire benefits of smart </p><p>media planning strategy and buying, according to an official </p><p>release. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Other clients on the roster include Carrier, Hyundai, Tata Tea, Indian </p><p>Airlines and Unit Trust of India. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
