Zenith Media appears to have put its US$160 million P&G
China loss firmly behind it, announcing a series of major account wins
across Asia-Pacific.
Major new appointments include BAT Malaysia, Hyundai Motors in India,
NCIC telecoms in Taiwan and Hutchison-Priceline in Hong Kong.
Regional wins include Energizer, Invensys, Calvin Klein Cosmetics and
Credit Suisse First Boston.
The new wins have billings worth about US$150 million and
Zenith's regional operations director Roland Crouch said the agency was
on target to post a double-digit rate of growth to around US$2
billion.
Mr Crouch said the P&G China loss was regrettable, but pointed out that
Zenith is still that client's media planning agency.
