Yu quits McCann after year as MD
McCann Erickson MD Rosanna Yu will step down in June after just one year at the helm, hinting at management differences behind the decision to quit.

Currently on her fourth stint with McCann, Yu (pictured) first joined the agency in 1983 as an account executive, and previously vacated the MD role in 2002 to spend time with her family. Yu refused to elaborate on the reasons for her departure, while also remaining tight-lipped on her plans after McCann.

Yu's exit comes amid other senior management changes, following the recent appointment of ECD Spencer Wong. Erminio Putignano has also joined as strategic planning director from the company's Melbourne operation, while Grace Yuen has been promoted to director of client services, after joining the agency six years ago.
