Y&R snaps up Ramanathan from DraftFCB

SINGAPORE - Young & Rubicam has added Hari Ramanathan to its regional creative planning team.

Ramanathan, who declined to comment, is expected to depart his role as senior creative strategist at DraftFCB for his new position in early February, after four years at the IPG agency. "He represents all the things I'm looking for," said Y&R regional creative planning director, Rob Campbell, to whom Ramanathan will report. "Someone who's experienced life and has a wonderful way of looking at things."

Ramanathan becomes the latest high-profile departure from DraftFCB in Southeast Asia; regional creative director Rob Sherlock is relocating to the agency's Chicago office, while account director Andrew Crombie is also leaving.
