Y&R mulls Campaign Palace global expansion

NEW YORK - Young & Rubicam is mulling a global rollout of highly-rated Australian agency Campaign Palace, as the company attempts to diversify its global business.

Y&R global CEO Hamish McLennan told Media that talks are at a preliminary stage, but confirmed that expansion is being actively considered.

While McLennan said it was too early to pin down exact locations, he noted that “more mature” markets, such as Singapore and Thailand in Asia, were under consideration.

Another source within Y&R told Media that Singapore, London, New York and Auckland are possible target markets for Campaign Palace, which currently has offices in Sydney and Melbourne.
