Yili retains Euro RSCG for yogurt

BEIJING - Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group has retained Euro RSCG Beijing for through-the-line communications on its yogurt brands, after a pitch involving McCann Erickson, Grey and JWT.

Euro RSCG Beijing first won Yili Yogurt in late 2006, and also handles Yili Pure Milk, Yili LHT Milk and Yili Breakfast Milk.

"Yili shows amazing potential as a dominant domestic brand and their partnership with the Beijing Olympic Games makes this a very exciting time work with them," said Euro RSCG EVP Randy Xiao (pictured).

"The brand needs to pay more attention to dramatise its Olympic Sponsorship and get closer to consumers in terms of communication and consumer activities."

The account will be remunerated on a fee basis. A new senior media strategic planner will join Euro’s office in Beijing dedicated to working on Yili this month.
