Hong Kong Broadband’s quirky ‘Squeeze/Bell/Ants’ TVC series, crafted by M&C Saatchi and MediaCom, took home the Most Creative Award, while WE Communications’ Halloween campaign for Ocean Park received the Highest Public Votes Award, based on telephone voting by the public during the awards presentation ceremony.
Kin Wah Leung, marketing and sales division controller at TVB Broadcasts, said the prizes differed from other awards. In addition to our professional judges, the public plays an active role in choosing the winners. After all, their preferences reflect actual market feedback on the TV campaigns.
Yakult scoops TVB ad award
