A Yahoo spokesperson confirmed the news but said the internet company was not prepared to elaborate on her job responsibilities, as “logistics (were) being sorted out still”.
Porter was previously a senior director for Buzz Marketing, based in Yahoo New York, according to sources.
Susay, who was with Yahoo for 18 months, recently left to become the regional head of marketing for Merrill Lynch (Media, 30 April).
