Yahoo India appoints MD

BANGALORE - Yahoo India has appointed Arun Tadanki (pictured) as managing director, charged with bolstering the company's presence in sub-continental Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Tadanki joins from Monster.com, where he has been president of Asia-Pacific and the Middle East since 2004.

Tadanki will be based out of Delhi and will report to senior vice-president of emerging markets Keith Nilsson.

Yahoo India claims a customer base of more than two-thirds of India’s total internet users and three million unique visitors to its home page per day.
