XM scoops global Nokia digital brief

XM Asia-Pacific has outgunned Wunderman London and UK's Moving Brands to pick up a global Nokia digital brief to conceptualise a standardised find-and-compare tool across all of Nokia's e-commerce sites worldwide.

XM was reportedly the only agency in the region invited to pitch, which initially included nine from Europe and America. XM is one of several agencies on Nokia Asia-Pacific's digital roster, which also includes 141 Worldwide and OgilvyOne. "Nokia will have a site that better engages and deepens its relationship with the consumer," XM managing partner Paul Soon said.

While e-commerce is a significant part of Nokia's Europe and US sales, the platform has yet to pick up in Asia.

XM, which merged with WPP sister agency RMG Connect last year, is headquartered in Singapore with offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Sydney. The brief will be handled solely by XM's Singapore outfit.
