WSJ Online's SMS news preview scores high

SINGAPORE - The Wall Street Journal Online secured a 62 per cent response rate from subscribers in Singapore for its recent trial of a Short Messaging News Preview service.

The service provided telephone users with a weekly news preview using SMS.



The campaign, the first of the online journal in Singapore, was promoted with banners posted on The Wall Street Journal Online Asia View page and was only visible to internet users who logged on in Singapore.
