Wright breaks silence on Lowe Asia
Lowe Worldwide chairman Tony Wright has clarified the network's plans for Asia, after it was announced in New York last week that 47 of its 87 global offices would be culled.

While Wright did not confirm whether any Asian offices would be affected by the cull, he did say: "In fact, we have significant plans to increase our involvement in India, China and elsewhere in the coming year. The network rationalisations referred to in our recent investor conference relate to non-strategic assets and are being undertaken precisely so that we can continue to make these incremental investments."

A number of Lowe country leaders earlier informed Media that they had yet to receive any further information regarding the agency's plans for its Asian operations.
