Deliver has been set up by WPP Digital to offer clients the option of outsourcing digital work to its agencies around the world. That means advertisers in mature markets can access production facilities in cheaper markets - namely, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and South Africa.
Several WPP agencies have already handled this sort of work. Blue, for example, handles production work for American and European clients.
Deliver will be headed by CEO Neal Prescott, who moves from Publicis Groupe’s Digitas unit, where he was EVP and global head of technology enablement. Digitas has itself been looking at emerging markets to drive cheaper digital production, having set up its Prodigious outsourcing outfit.
