Woori Bank reviews creative in Korea

SEOUL - Three agencies are believed to be competing for Woori Investment & Securities' KRW12 billion (US$8 million) creative account in Korea, including incumbent TBWA and local agencies LG Ad and Grape.

The financial services company is reportedly bound by its shareholders to hold a statutory review of its marketing accounts on a two-yearly basis to demonstrate objectivity. TBWA has held the business since 2004.

Woori Investment & Securities is part of Woori Financial Group, the second largest bank in South Korea after Korea Exchange Bank. The group also comprises Woori Bank, Kyongnam Bank, and Kwangju Bank.

The result of the review is expected to be announced on Tuesday.
