Wong named CMO of AXA Hong Kong

HONG KONG - Andrea Wong (pictured) has been promoted to chief marketing officer of AXA Hong Kong, replacing Francine Fu, who recently resigned from the post.

Wong has been with AXA Hong Kong since 2002, rises from her post as head of AXA Advisers. She will report to John Cai, CEO of AXA Hong Kong.

“Apart from overseeing the company’s marketing communications and branding at a tactical level, my priority is to help AXA to achieve its vision - to become a marketing driven company and become market leader,” said Wong.

“To achieve that we need to tackle several challenges, including how to differentiate AXA with other competitors. We’ve made a conscious decision to widen AXA’s brand image from just an insurance company, since it took over National Mutual, to a more customer-centric financial protection and wealth management company,” she added.

Prior to joining AXA, Wong worked for KPMG and Citibank.
