Wong, Halmarick head restructure at Carat's AP ops

Carat has reorganised its Asia-Pacific operations into two separate divisions under the leadership of Thomas Wong and David Halmarick, who will both report to David Verklin, Carat's Americas CEO who recently added Asia-Pacific to his remit.

Wong, who was stewarding Greater China, Japan and Korea, now adds India and the Philippines to his responsibilities as Carat Asia North CEO, based in Shanghai. Halmarick, who was overseeing Australia and New Zealand, takes on Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand as Carat Asia South CEO, based in Sydney. The restructure follows the departure of David Liu, now Asia-Pacific head of Rentokil after seven years with the agency. Koh Tai Hong will also report to Verklin as regional director for Posterscope, alongside Roger Winter, regional director for Vizeum, and Anna Azilli, MD of Carat Interational.
