WMD cuts Carat ties for Omnicom return
Wizard Media Dynamics WMD,TBWA-ISC\Malaysia's media arm, is to terminate its affiliation with Carat Malaysia in favour of the Omnicom Media Group (OMG), a combined entity that comprises OMD, Mediawise and PHD. <BR><BR> OMG in Malaysia will replace Carat Malaysia's management, proprietary and planning tools as well as bulk buying clout for WMD, effective from August this year - marking one year since WMD first moved from TBWA to Carat. <BR><BR> Omnicom Media Group Southeast Asia regional MD Jim Goh explained the shift as "a consolidation of TBWA's business within the Omnicom fold in order to provide WMD with even better media planning tools and greater cost efficiencies for their current and prospective clients".
