W&K shuts down Beijing office

SHANGHAI - Creative shop Wieden & Kennedy is closing its Beijing office after less than a year of operations and has relocated its Beijing staff to Shanghai.

The Beijing branch was set up to service the Nokia account, which will be primarily run out of London.

Newly appointed Nokia account director in China, Christian Wolfe, and his nine colleagues will all be moving to Shanghai. Nokia’s China operations, including its marketing head for the country, are based in Beijing.
