Windows Live Hotmail rolls out across region

ASIA-PACIFIC - Microsoft has unveiled Windows Live Hotmail, the successor to its popular Hotmail email platform, in 12 markets across the region, as part of a wider global rollout.

The new service will include enhanced advertising formats in order to boost advertisers’ connections with Hotmail’s 280 million users. Window’s Live Hotmail will allow advertisers to target via age, gender, occupation, country and region, among others, and provides consumers with customised looks and functionality.

According to Microsoft DAS VP of global sales Chris Dobson, the launch “further builds on the popularity of Hotmail as a significant global targeted ad medium.”
