Wieden & Kennedy taps Cohen for ECD

SHANGHAI Creative micro-network Wieden & Kennedy has brought onboard Nick Cohen (pictured) as ECD for the China region.

Based in Wieden & Kennedy’s Shanghai office, Cohen will replace Frank Hahn, whose future movements remain unclear.

Cohen will be reporting directly to the global team.

The Wieden & Kennedy job is his first stint in Asia.

Most recently creative director at Euro RSCG New York, Cohen ran his own ad agency, Mad Dogs & Englishmen, for over a decade. He has also worked for TBWA and for Ogilvy in New York. In 2006, he served as a judge at the Spikes awards in Bali.

Wieden & Kennedy Shanghai lost another ECD late last year, when M&C Saatchi alum Iris Lo left for personal reasons, having held the position for only six months.
