There are opportunities to move both between departments at head </p><p>office and between worldwide offices. Examples of this include transfers </p><p>between the overseas PR department and the ad department and also </p><p>between one worldwide office and another. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>What are the perks? </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>One of the main advantages is that staff are aware of events, </p><p>attractions, concerts, and the like before this information is released </p><p>to the general public. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Other advantages include early notification of hotel packages, </p><p>restaurant and bar openings around town and the accompanying </p><p>invitations. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>What is the average working week like for the HKTB's team? </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Staff structure their days according to the demands of upcoming major </p><p>events and programmes of which there are many. Our worldwide offices are </p><p>also just commencing work when it is the afternoon here in Hong </p><p>Kong. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Tourism is a 24-hour-a-day job. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>How often does the marketing staff travel in a year and to where? </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The consumer marketing team normally do four to five trips a year for </p><p>planning, ad agency and PR consultant updates and evaluation. But most </p><p>of the time is spent in Hong Kong as 21st century communication </p><p>equipment means less travel. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
