In his new role, Weeks will work closely with the company’s chief executives in established markets such as Japan and Australia to drive growth in Asia. “We are in a strong position in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, and have lots of potential that we plan to exploit in three ways,” Weeks said, explaining that emphasis would be placed on internal collaboration, strengthening relationships with partner firms, and investment in talent.
Weeks’ move comes after a 13-year stint as president and chief executive of the company’s Japan operation. Replacing Weeks will be deputy chief executive Deborah Hayden.
