Terence Lau has been named associate director of the sports marketing practice, and will focus primarily on the agency’s Nike account. He has worked in North America and Asia with the NBA, the Houston Rockets and Sports International, most recently overseeing sponsorship activation for the Rockets, the Houston Comets and the Toyota Centre in Houston, Texas.
Amanda Wu has joined as account director for the consumer and travel practice where she will focus on Gibson Guitar, Royal Caribbean International and Laguna Phuket. She brings 15 years’ experience to the table, and has worked with several luxury brands including Tiffany & Co, Bvlgari and Chopard, among others.
Both will report to Darren Burns, managing director of Weber Shandwick Shanghai.
