WEB BRIEFINGS: Renren.com allies with News Corp

<p>Renren.com Holdings has entered into a long-term financial and </p><p>strategic partnership with News Corporation, to jointly develop global </p><p>Chinese-language Internet content. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>News Corp, through News Digital Ventures, is investing in Renren.com </p><p>through its parent, Renren Media Holdings. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The latter will acquire 82 per cent ownership of Ankor Group, a </p><p>locally-listed Hong Kong company, whose name will be changed to Renren </p><p>Media. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Renren.com, News Corp and Ankor will co-operate to develop new </p><p>businesses in consumer-oriented ecommerce sectors. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
