May figures released by Seoul-based Internet market research firm,
Korea Metrix have revealed that of the country's 13.17 million Netizens,
70 per cent regularly use email. The research, which was targeted at
email marketers, found that each user holds an average of two email
accounts, sending five to six emails daily.
Ousting Yahoo! from pole position as the leading Internet service
provider was Hanmail, garnering 49.5 per cent of the 10,000 users
polled.
Yahoo! and Chollian ranked closely behind.
