WEB BRIEFINGS: Korea's email population soars to 9.23 million
<p>May figures released by Seoul-based Internet market research firm, </p><p>Korea Metrix have revealed that of the country's 13.17 million Netizens, </p><p>70 per cent regularly use email. The research, which was targeted at </p><p>email marketers, found that each user holds an average of two email </p><p>accounts, sending five to six emails daily. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Ousting Yahoo! from pole position as the leading Internet service </p><p>provider was Hanmail, garnering 49.5 per cent of the 10,000 users </p><p>polled. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Yahoo! and Chollian ranked closely behind. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
