In a bid to provide new technology content, media and ecommerce
services to Global Services customers, the B2B solutions provider has
formed a joint-venture partnership with CMP Media Inc.
The joint-venture sees Global Sources owning a 60 per cent stake, with
CMP Media holding onto the remaining 40 per cent.
CMP is poised to provide international news, trend forecasts and
community-specific content while playing a key role in the relaunch of
Global Sources' array of tech-focused, multi-lingual websites.
Meanwhile, CMP brands EE Times and Electronics Buyers' News are
earmarked for content integration with existing Global Sources sites.
