<p>A new travel website AroundAsia.com has been launched with </p><p>simplicity and speed in mind. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The site has done away with unnecessary pictures, tips, videos and logos </p><p>in an effort to facilitate fast downloading of content. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The site does not require broadband access, and according to Mr Somkiat </p><p>Matthews, PR and business development manager of AroundAsia.com, the </p><p>company has adopted the simple philosophy of websites such as Google, </p><p>which "have used a simple and fast design to attract customers". </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"There is no fluff, we sell hotels in Asia, and we deal with some of the </p><p>best hotels in each destination. We are a site for people who know what </p><p>they want and want to be able to find it quickly and as easily as </p><p>possible," Mr Matthews said. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>AroundAsia.com deals directly with each hotel, skipping wholesale </p><p>networks. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>It presently has an estimated 100 hotels online, with an additional 60 </p><p>expected to join within the next three months. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
