Wang departs ECD role at Publicis China

SHANGHAI - Publicis China ECD Violet Wang (pictured) will step down from her position, but will retain a consultancy role at the agency she joined 20 months ago.

According to Publicis China CEO Sheena Jeng, Wang made the decision after a "tough" period during which she revitalised the agency’s creative output, and appointed a new generation of creative leaders at Publicis’ China offices. "Consequently Publicis has become stronger and stronger," said Wang. She said a search for a successor is underway.
