“The Greater China region is coming into its own as a market,” says David Ko (pictured), executive vice-president, Asia Pacific, Waggener Edstrom Worldwide.
“Clients are increasingly requesting programmes that communicate their innovations to a Greater China audience. While we already have an established presence in Hong Kong and mainland China, we were looking for the right partner in Taiwan to bolster our ability to meet this emerging need.”
“Taiwan is a important part of the Great China market, we can make use of Waggener’s global resources; in return it can count on our know-how and PR expertise to handle its clients’ campaigns in Taiwan,” said Ann Chen, VP of Kinetics Communications.
One of the current programmes both companies are working on is the entry of Microsoft’s smartphone into the Asia market.
