Volkswagen Singapore shortlists four

SINGAPORE - Volkswagen is believed to have shortlisted four agencies for a creative review in Singapore.

According to sources close to the pitch, the final round of presentations will take place in mid-December.
The brief is to conceptualise a campaign for a car launch. VW will be looking to use this campaign to trial the selected agency, said a source.

“The client is looking for a small, local agency. The first round took place in October when VW selected a few agencies for credentials presentations. The brief is pretty straight-forward,” he said.

VW has confirmed that a pitch is underway but declined to comment further. Incumbent DDB, which won the account last year after a global alignment (Media, 17 Oct), did not wish to comment.
