The 30-second spot, developed by local shop Bang, was designed as a support tool for the Hong Kong-made brand at overseas fairs and exhibitions. Bang managing partner Chris Kyme said that Voila was launched more than a year ago and "the time was right to put a campaign behind the brand to keep the momentum going". The spot features a man who demonstrates how easy it is to snap the watch onto his wrist and other parts of his body. "When someone gives you that watch, you cannot help constantly snapping the thing on and off your wrist," Kyme said.
Voila founder and CEO Roger Khemlani said: "After a recent showing of the TVC at the Hong Kong Clock and Watch Fair, I have seen the number of countries sign up for distribution rise from 17 to 26."
