The series, Khabar Cinta, is a branded entertainment college drama focusing on love and friendship, in line with Vochelle’s new tag line 'It’s Choco-Lots-of-Love'.
Next Digital said the series, which was launched last week with only ‘organic’ social media advertising, has already garnered 10,000 views online.
Vic Sithasanan, CEO of Next Digital in Singapore, said Vochelle wanted to encourage consumers to see the chocolate as something to snack on rather than to buy for a special occasion.
He said, “We created this format as our research found that our target audience snacked a lot when they watched a TV series and was also really into watching Korean drama series online. We thought we could create something that was not a foreign drama but based entirely in Malaysia so our audience could identify with it.”
