Vitasoy hands FCB flagship products

Vitasoy has handed FCB Hong Kong the creative duties for two of its flagship products - Vitasoy drink and Vita Lemon Tea.

The agency was awarded the business following a two-way pitch against incumbent DDB, which will continue to handle other Vitasoy products. Set up in 1940, Vitasoy markets two major brands: Vitasoy, a soy drink and tofu, and Vita, a range of dairy milk products, juices, teas, carbonated drinks and distilled water. FCB Greater China chairman and CEO Gary Tse said: "The win covers both strategic and creative work on the brands. (It) only covers Hong Kong, but there is room to bring the brand to a bigger geography across growth markets like China." The company shifted its media planning and buying duties to OMD Hong Kong earlier this year, dropping incumbents MindShare and Maxus, which had held the business for seven years.
