Vibo breaks mobile TV push

Vibo has launched the latest ad in its campaign that has helped it become Taiwan's most popular 3G brand since launching 11 months ago.

The new TV-led push focuses on mobile TV with a spot showing how a group of friends watching a baseball game on TV in a bar continue to enjoy the game on someone's mobile after a local thug insists on watching children's cartoons on the main set.

The ad stars Kit, a character used in previous Vibo commercials who has proved popular with consumers in Taiwan. "Consumers identify with her and we use her to help customers realise that, with Vibo, 3G is not about bells and whistles, it is about friends and family," explained Christopher Fay, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Taiwan, Vibo's AOR.
