Ventosa tapped for ABS-CBN post

March Ventosa has resigned as managing director of Leo Burnett Manila to join ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation as VP for marketing.

Ventosa, with Burnett for 20 years, assumes a post that has been vacant for several months after ABS-CBN overhauled its sales and marketing divisions. He faces the challenge of marketing the network's multimedia offerings as as it bids to regain leadership after being overtaken by rival GMA. Ventosa has been replaced by Raymond Arrastia as deputy MD. Former Burnett Manila CEO Michael Constantine has been brought in as CEO/technical advisor for both Burnett Manila and Arc. Arrastia first joined Burnett in 2001 and in 2003, helped establish Blackpencil, Burnett's second regional network, which services Sun Cellular and other local clients. Constantine's first Manila posting was in 1998, when he set up the marketing capabilities of the agency, now consolidated under Arc.
