The proprietary digital media network will see over a thousand taxis carry the system by end of 2008 to reach 30,000 commuters through digital formats including pictures, flash animation and full motion videos.
Advertisers will also be able to select spot durations ranging from 15 to 60 seconds or longer, and campaigns to last from one week to three months.
Jim Chuang, CEO of UzoneMedia, said: "Our platform has the ability to push content intelligently based on the location of the taxis and time of day while allowing marketing messages to reach our target audience more effectively.
In addition, the touchscreens installed in the taxis display interactive contents that engage the passengers, thus making content impression last even longer. Finally, all the screens in the taxis are networked together via 3.5G technology.
