US telco comms head joins Gavin Anderson in HK

Gavin Anderson (GA) has continued to grow its corporate, financial communications and issue management practice, hiring Joshua Goldman-Brown as director of its Hong Kong operation.

Goldman-Brown was most recently regional manager of marketing and communications for US telco MCI, formerly known as WorldCom, responsible for external and internal communications as the company emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. While at MCI, Goldman-Brown also instigated a customer communications programme, developing online and offline content tailored to customers in six markets across the region. "(Joshua) will be advising our financial and professional service clients, as well as adding depth to our issues management and internal communications offerings," said GA Hong Kong and Singapore CEO Richard Barton.
